ABI After-School
What We Offer
Art Beyond the Ink is proud to educate student groups of all ages. Central to our mission, we offer highly interactive programming to fit both assembly and classroom settings in NYC classrooms. Our partnerships are mainly comprised of semester-long after-school and summer programs, but all workshops are adjustable to fit specific classroom needs.
What To Expect
Our curriculum teaches music theory, musical storytelling, and art-techniques across a range of disciplines to enhance social-emotional development in K-12 students. Students will learn about instruments, genres, and musical concepts, as well as how each concept helps us to express our emotions and depict the stories that hear within music. Every student receives fun art supplies for class projects, along with a copy of our workbook - and they get to keep everything even after the sessions are complete!
We offer three different levels for the workshop to best fit your needs, age groups and levels:
Inklings (Pre-K to 3rd grade)
Ink Splatters (Grades 4-7)
Beyond the Ink (Grades 8 and above)

Our current school partners include PS 153, PS 161, PS 36 through the Harlem Dowling West-Side Center.
